Monsopiad Cultural Village was named after a revered warrior who defended and saved his people from pirates who plundered the village.

Today, Monsopiad Cultural Village is the only place where visitors can catch a glimpse of the headhunter’s way of life.  In the House of Skulls, 42 skulls hang on the rooftop as ‘trophies’.

Itinerary

Depart from your hotel.  The journey takes only 20 minutes drive to reach the Cultural Village.  Upon arrival, welcome drinks will be served.  (Local rice wine)

Proceed for a leisure walk within the village of the famous local warrior named Monsopiad and discover his culture, his people and his living heritage.  Be amazed with stories behind the 42 skulls left behind for public viewing hanging above the ceiling which are supposedly ‘trophies’ during the head hunting days.

Sit and relax while you enjoy the cultural dance show performed by the village talented staff.
