Sabah Golf & Country Club a Robert Muir Graves course originally designed in 1976, and subsequently re-designed by Nelson & Haworth in 2004, is a 6,335-meter Par-72 course, the main features being an undulating terrain with fast greens, amidst dense trees and numerous water-hazards, has been acknowledged as one of South-East Asia toughest course.

Some highlights of the course:

  • the Par-4 Hole#9 at 342-meter a dog-leg right over water, with a open fairway before the turn towards the water-hazard and the green is deceptive and luring in appearance leading one against either a steep-sloping terrain or a lone tree that acts as a block to an otherwise easy second landing shot.

  • the Par-5 Hole#14 at 565-meter, with Holes # 15 & 16 have collectively been named “AMEN’S CORNER” a combination of  water-hazards, dog-leg turns, bunkers and uphill dense tree lined fairways where mind presides over muscle.

On a clear day, golfers are assured of a panoramic view of Mount Kinabalu in the distance.
